What the Tallis note can say

Lesson 20. Map, example, EX066.

Q["Quote the six prints"] --> K["Keep pilot figures in sentences"]
K --> N["No new payload, weight file, eps, or Bayes row"]
  N --> O["Review stays open"]

The note may repeat lines the scripts printed. It may not improve them.

Logical drawing

keep: three Wilson rows, five seeds, bootstrap slots
keep: three prefixes, sorted status lines, one bit, one added line
keep: four defence rows, five eps lines, three buckets, nine precision lines
reject: a new payload, a real model file, a sixth eps, a tenth Bayes row
reject: a finished firm, a credential
The labs make four ideas concrete — crafted inputs, limits, base rates and measurement — and the adoption plan ties them into a decision with controls, monitoring, incident steps and review.

Learning outcomes

After this chapter, you should be able to:

  1. Place each printed block back with the script that emitted it.
  2. Leave the pilot figures in the adoption sentences.
  3. Reject a note that calls Tallis & Co finished or awards a credential.

20.1 The note's permission is the six prints, plus the prose that was never a column.

A Tallis note can quote the three Wilson rows, the five seed rates with mean 0.125 and sd 0.017, and the bootstrap line 0.350, 0.190, [0.120, 0.203]. It can quote the three 16-character prefixes and the status order config.yaml, model.bin, tokenizer.json. It can say index 5000 was XOR 1 and that the config gained one line. It can quote the four defence rows, including the allowlist's padded zero and the separate row's empty result. It can quote the weights and the five accuracies, the three bucket lines with their spaces, and all nine precision lines, including 0.019 and 509.

It can also say, as sentences, that 6 of 20 drafts carried a risky suggestion, that the interval words were roughly 15–52 percent, that 2,400 drafts came from ten users, and that a person clicks send. It can name the 30-day retention answer, the €500 review, the 3-minute drill, mailboxes T1–T5, and 12–26 October. It cannot slide those words into a format string.

It cannot add a payload, a destination, a real model file, a sixth eps, or a tenth Bayes row. It cannot say the toy parser is InboxAide. It cannot say the firm is finished. hiagokinlevi/ai-security-guardrails is supplementary reading and was not a control either script measured. Quantum and post-quantum security is the following rapid subject, and this book does not start that subject.

The note may quote The note may not add
The six embedded prints A seventh script
6 of 20, as a sentence successes=6/20 inside Lab S
€500, as a sentence An eps aimed at a receipt
The sorted MISMATCH lines A claim the prefix made the file safe

Sentence offered for the note Allowed? Why
The four defence lines, copied with their spaces Yes That is the print
"Separate clears the list after the parse." Yes That is the control flow
"We tried one more string and the vendor filter failed." No No such string was added
"Tallis & Co is secure, and this course grants a credential." No Review is open

Synthetic case. Tallis & Co and Omar Haddou remain invented. InboxAide and ReceiptSort are invented product names.

Errors and limits

Tallis & Co stays a synthetic accounting firm after these twenty lessons, and no credential is awarded here. The planning minimum of twenty lessons is met, and independent review of this Tallis manuscript stays open. These English chapters do not publish another language edition. A fresh receipt-drawer question can still earn its own later Tallis lesson.

    Show marking criteria
Rubric: 3 = keep the six prints and the prose figures in their own places; reject a new payload, a real model file, a sixth eps, a tenth Bayes row, a finished firm, and a credential;; 2 = the prints stay and the false claims stay out;; 1 = one print;; 0 = none.

Worked answers

EX066. Keep the six prints, including their spaces and their order, and keep the pilot figures in sentences. Reject a new payload, a real model file, a sixth eps, a tenth Bayes row, a claim that Tallis & Co is finished, and a claim that a credential was awarded. Twenty lessons meet the planning minimum and leave review open.
