9.1 The exclusion is still written in the present
The first scope covers the appointment portal, its scheduling database, the identity provider and the backup service. Both case management and the volunteer roster remain outside that inclusion list, pending the review the scope postponed. A classmate says the course has gone on long enough that the quarter must have turned, and opens the case database because its row is in the listing. The file never dates that turn. The row stays so the identity provider's support of every service remains visible, including a service outside the scope. The engineer does not open the database and does not invent a suspicious account to report. There is still nothing new to hand to that system's owner.

Synthetic case. The quarter's arrival is not given a date. Casework remains the printed owner label, not a person.
Errors and limits
Holding the exclusion does not cancel the later review. It refuses to pretend the review has already been held.

- EX063 — Has the exclusion expired? The scope says case management and the volunteer roster will be reviewed next quarter. A teammate opens the case database because its row is listed. What stays closed, and what date is missing?
